UCAS Extra

It's not too late to apply for courses starting in September 2017

Have you missed the 15th January deadline for submitting your UCAS application, don’t panic – we’re still accepting applications for courses. For full time study apply through UCAS, or Part time student through our application form

If you have used all five choices and find yourself without an offer, or if you choose to decline your offers or withdraw your choices, you will be eligible to apply through UCAS Extra. This means you don’t have to wait until Clearing to find a place.

What is UCAS Extra?

Extra is the next step of the application cycle for applicants who have no offers from their five choices or have declined any offers received.

UCAS Extra opens on 25th February and runs up until 4th July. Log on to your UCAS Track and you’ll be notified if you’re eligible for an Extra choice. It’s also worth contacting us directly to discuss an application.

Any new applications made after 30th June will automatically be considered through clearing. Clearing 2017 runs from early July to September, and is the process which helps students who have not yet secured a university place to find and apply for a course.
