Grant Webb is a Chartered Engineer and the Course Leader for the HNC/HND/BEng Engineering programmes at University Centre Peterborough. He has taught since September 2009 and joined University Centre Peterborough in December 2012. His research interests include smart grids and demand response, low-carbon transport and renewable energy integration.
External commitments include being a Visiting Lecturer at Hubei University of Technology, China; an Examiner for Pearson Education; and a Professional Review Interviewer for the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET). Before teaching, he worked in the industry for 11 years.
He had a background in electronics and manufacturing engineering, working for Walkbury Electronics Ltd and Perkins Engines Co Ltd/Caterpillar Inc based in Peterborough.
