Learning Resources

Students have access to a collection of learning resources and online databases (journal articles, eBooks, newspapers etc.) from University Centre Peterborough and the Inspire Education Group. The majority of these resources are available remotely as well as on campus.

Students can access their resources through Canvas and Library Resources.

You can access UCP’s Canvas here: www.canvas.ucp.ac.uk and log in via Google using your student email and password.

Canvas is updated regularly and our weekly Student Briefing is posted there with important updates and useful information.

Students can borrow 14 books for 4 weeks; please note these are subject to fines if the loan goes overdue. Books overdue by more than 60 days will be referred to finance where further charges, including a £10 admin fee will be applied.

Please remember to renew or return your library books on time. If you need to talk to a member of the team about your loan, visit the Library or email: library@peterborough.ac.uk or library@stamford.ac.uk

As a HE student, you can choose to study in any of the student spaces in the College libraries where you can work alone or as a group. You can also log onto any of the student PCs or book them in advance, with access to the internet & Microsoft Office. Chrome books, laptops and headphones are available for you to use whilst you are in the library. There are also printing and scanning facilities.

The friendly team are always happy to help students and staff use the various services available and can offer advice or sessions on finding the right resources.
