University Centre Peterborough is conveniently located with bus stops right by the campus. This provides a quick and hassle-free commute for students and visitors.
Public Transport
Multiple public transport options are available to students, often offering cheaper prices and greater flexibility. Services run daily; students can pay by the day or week in much smaller instalments. Many public service operators also offer “Rover” type passes that can be used on different bus routes, which could be very convenient for students studying courses that include industry placements, such as T-Levels.

Travelling by Train?
If you are travelling to UCP via train, it is a short walk from the train station to Queensgate Bus Station where you can choose between the number 5 or the number 2 bus.
College Transport
All UCP students are able to use the Peterborough and Stamford College buses. Our college buses drop off and pick up right outside the College entrances, so you will need to make your own way to and from your local pick up point! Please ntoe that all routes, stops and times are subject to change for the upcoming academic year.
All busses leave the college at 4:50PM – students must arrive 10 minutes before the buses are due to depart or collect from their stop in the morning.
Bus Costs
To pay for your bus pass, you will be sent login details for our online payment portal Wise Pay near to enrolment.
Financial support may be available to you to contribute towards, or cover the costs of your transport to college.
Stamford Public Transport
Train Station:
If you are travelling to the Stamford campus via train, it is a short walk from the train station to College in 26 minutes, or alternatively catch the number 4 bus from Stamford Bus Station.
Bus:
If you are using public transport to the Stamford campus, you can take the number 4 bus from Stamford Bus Station and get off at Drift Road.
