Stamford College Creative Media Students Explore Next-Level Production at University Centre Peterborough Discovery Day

University Centre Peterborough (UCP) today welcomed a cohort of talented Creative Media students from Stamford College for an immersive Discovery Day that showcased the exciting future of digital storytelling and modern media.

The interactive event was designed to introduce students to UCP’s cutting-edge Journalism and Media courses, demonstrating how their existing creative skill sets can seamlessly transition into advanced degree pathways and fast-growing careers in the media industry. 

The immersive event saw students transition from their usual classroom settings straight into the heart of the action, gaining hands-on experience in the Media and Journalism Centre’s industry-standard TV studio. 

The Discovery Day highlighted the strong academic pathways available between the two institutions, which are both part of the Inspire Education Group (IEG). By bridging the gap between college-level talent and higher education opportunities, the event aimed to open new doors for students looking to take their creative passions to the next level.
