Community and Social Research in Peterborough Conference 2025

ISLAH, the Institute for Social Policy, Leadership and Advancement of Humanity and University Centre Peterborough (UCP) have issued a call for abstracts to be presented at the forthcoming Community and Social Research in Peterborough Conference, on Thursday, June 19, 2025. 

This year’s conference – titled, Catalysts for Change: Empowering Communities to Thrive – is encouraging submissions relating to: Community Spaces and Culture, Health, Education, and Youth and Social Justice.

Researchers are required to submit a maximum 250-word abstract for a ten-minute presentation. The abstract should relate to grassroots work and social research within Peterborough or the Greater Peterborough area. 

The deadline for submitted abstracts is Friday, May 2, 2025. 

Participation in the conference can be from not-for-profit organisations, community organisations, commercial organisations, statutory organisations as well as individual researchers.
