Amy is currently undertaking 14 weeks specialist training to develop her ability to carry out crime scene processing and evidence recovery process. “The Forensic Investigation course is so relevant to what I’m doing now!”, Amy shared. “It provided me with a good basis of most of the techniques that I will definitely be using day-to-day”. Amy continued, “The lecturers and support that UCP offered was key to my success. Being taught by people who had worked in industry and could share their knowledge was invaluable. Hearing about how they has used certain techniques in the past provided a sense of realism to the course”.

When asked what advice she would give to anyone considering studying at University Centre Peterborough, Amy shared, “If like me, you think a bigger university will be too daunting, then definitely consider UCP, as the small class sizes helped me no end. I am so glad that I chose UCP, because I was able to really get to know my peers and my lecturers, which eased my nerves about studying and created a much more relaxed learning environment.
