University Centre Peterborough Alumni Return for Arts, Humanities and Social Science Conference

University Centre Peterborough (UCP) welcomed alumni back to campus for its 11th annual Arts, Humanities and Social Science Conference, bringing together current students, graduates and staff to celebrate academic research across the division.

The conference provided students from Arts, Humanities and Social Science courses with the opportunity to present their work in a supportive academic environment, encouraging the sharing of ideas and discussion with peers and returning alumni.

Alumni attendees contributed to the event by listening to presentations, offering feedback and sharing their experiences since graduating from University Centre Peterborough. Their involvement gave current students valuable insight into life beyond their studies and potential progression routes after graduation.

The event forms an important part of the academic calendar, helping students to build confidence in presenting their research while encouraging discussion across disciplines. University Centre Peterborough continues to value the strong connections it maintains with its alumni community, with events such as this strengthening relationships between past and present students and enhancing the wider academic experience.

The conference concluded with an award ceremony, with students receiving People’s Choice and Panel Choice awards.
