University Centre Peterborough Showcases Local Higher Education to Hundreds at College Careers Fairs

This week, University Centre Peterborough has been showcasing our diverse higher education provision to hundreds of students across both Peterborough College and Stamford College.

From the exciting atmosphere of the Stamford Bistro to the vibrant hall of Peterborough, our team has been engaging with students researching their next steps. It has been a fantastic opportunity to highlight the benefits of staying local, where our smaller class sizes and personalised support systems allow students to truly thrive in their chosen fields.

Throughout both events, our advisors held a wide range of meaningful conversations with students at every stage of their journey. From those just beginning to research their options, as well as those who have already submitted their applications and wanted to confirm specific details about their upcoming courses. This direct engagement is vital, as it allows us to address individual questions and provide the reassurance students need as they transition from College to degree-level study within the Inspire Education Group.

To further support our students, we also hosted dedicated UCAS and Student Finance talks designed to ‘mythbust’ the application process. These sessions provided clear, step-by-step guidance on how to apply and exactly what students need to consider when researching their funding options. By breaking down these technical barriers, we aim to ensure that every student feels confident and fully prepared to take the leap into Higher Education.
