University Centre Peterborough Student Featured on BBC Sounds

University Centre Peterborough is celebrating the success of Helen Cross, a BA English Literature and Creative Writing student, whose work has been featured on BBC Sounds.

Helen submitted her piece, Rational Expression to BBC Upload, a platform that showcases creative work. Over the weekend, her submission was featured on BBC Sounds, giving her the opportunity to share her writing with a wider audience.

BBC Upload provides a space for creators to submit their work, with selected pieces featured across BBC radio, online platforms and social media. Being included on the platform offers emerging writers the chance to gain exposure and have their work heard by new audiences.

University Centre Peterborough is proud to support students as they develop their creative practice and share their work beyond the classroom. Helen’s achievement highlights the opportunities available to students studying English Literature and Creative Writing at UCP.
