No. For 2026 entry, students answer three specific questions (min. 350 characters each). Total limit is still 4,000 characters.
The equal consideration deadline is 29 January 2026. After this, places are not guaranteed.
UCP looks at the whole person. We accept BTECs, T-Levels, Access to HE, and even relevant work experience for mature students.
Yes. UCP degrees are validated by major institutions like The Open University, meaning you get a nationally recognized qualification while studying in Peterborough.
You aren’t just a number. Average class sizes are 15–25 students, giving you direct access to lecturers that you simply don’t get at massive city universities.
Most students apply for a Tuition Fee Loan (covers your fees) and a Maintenance Loan (for living costs) via Student Finance England.
