UCP Celebrates Creativity With Degree Showcase At Key Theatre
University Centre Peterborough (UCP) held a vibrant two-day Creative Showcase at the Key Theatre, captivating audiences with a diverse range of artistic expressions. For two days, the event offered a platform for UCP’s talented students to showcase their work, fostering a dynamic exchange between aspiring artists and the Peterborough community.
Digital Art
Visitors to the Digital Arts exhibit were treated to a dazzling display of cutting-edge technology and imaginative creations. From 10 am on both days, stunning 3D and interactive installations explored diverse themes, captivating audiences with their originality and depth. These thought-provoking works, crafted by UCP’s final-year students, ranged from examinations of propaganda’s influence to artistic interpretations of gender identity.
Film Screenings
Budding filmmakers took centre stage with the Film Screenings. From documentaries that captured real-life experiences to imaginative creative shorts, the showcase immersed viewers in captivating stories. UCP’s Media and Journalism students showcased their storytelling skills and filmmaking talents on both days.
